About This Game Wooden Floor is a first person adventure horror game inside an old house that seems normal but the further you progress into the game you start to realize that rooms change if you close a door behind you and whole corridors appear out of nowhere. Put together the unpredictibility(thats a word right?), the eerie atmosphere, and the all around unsettling soundtrack, and you get a game that is worth every cent you put towards it. This game takes a different approach with horror. Instead of random pop-up jump scares, it'll try to creep you out by getting inside of your head with things such as floating books and evil eyes. The only issue (if it can even be called that) in my opinion is the lack of a save system, but when this game is as short as it is, there really isnt a point to a save system, so mabey its just me fussing about over nothing. In any case this game is one worth playing and will definitley give you something to think about next time you go into the attic.10\/10. the end is impossible to finish. You can tell they at least tried with this, but there isn't much story, the controls and menus are poor but the music is alright. ending was a little tricky but otherwise the rest was too easy. it tries to get you spooked but it over doest the 'floatin things' and just makes it funny. it's very short and you can't save the game in anyway. Not wirth the full price.. It's always refreshing to see a horror game that focuses on unnerving moments, rather that jump scares. However, I don't think this game is worth six dollars. Get it on sale.. Not worth 10 cents. I hate opening drawers and not finding a key. The jump scares are laughable and yes, it is raining and someone has poor taste in paintings.. This is one solid horror indie game that definitely deserves more attention. A good one, I must say, a very good one. The game writing seems like the work of the professional and I haven't encountered any technical issues. The combination of these features is actually pretty uncommon these days.. First off, let me say I got this game as part of a bundle which ended with me paying a little under forty cents for this. That said, I'm not sure whether I would have been happy with my purchase had I paid full price, but I can say I wouldn't have been angry about it. It's worth picking up if it's on sale and/or you enjoy games that are creepy (ymmv on how creepy you find it).This is a pretty nice looking, and sounding, game. It also very easy on the system requirements, which is always nice. I think there was a good job done on the ambiance of the game. The house seems to have a mind of its own, changing and morphing to mess with your head, which I especially enjoy.There isn't really a plot to the game that I could see. “A person wakes up in a strange house and starts looking around” is pretty much all I got out of it, but maybe I missed something. Which would make sense considering how confused I was regarding the ending. When it comes to scares, it's really more strange or creepy than scary, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. That said, there aren't any jump scares worth mentioning, which is nice I guess, as they can be over used in some games. It builds up the tension though, and there's a few sections of the house that are pretty off putting. It does, however, rely on the player facing the right direction at the right time to get some of the scares. That's why my time is longer than other reviewers, as I missed a lot of things the first time through because I'd be looking away from triggering events. The game would have been served well with use of auto camera positioning in these events. There's also no ability to save the game, which isn't a problem per say, since the game is so short. However, there is a couple short platform-y sections that make it a little annoying, but the controls are pretty smooth so it's not not too bad.Overall I enjoyed the game. It's super short and it's more strange than scary, but I still had a good time with it.. I think this game in pretty good not as mutch puzzles in it tho and i did find the easter egg whitch is pretty cool 6/10
